Metal processing
Yield and heat number tracking for metal processors
Coil, plate and bar received against a heat number, output that always weighs less than the input, and a yield figure nobody sees until month end. FleekERP records the input lot on every batch, the output lots it produced and the scrap in between, so yield is a number you read per batch rather than a figure you reconcile at month end.

What slows metal processors down
- Yield is seen at month endInput and output weights are reconciled once a month, so a batch that lost too much is found weeks later.
- Heat numbers get lost on the floorThe heat number is on the receipt, but it doesn't follow the material through each batch to the dispatch.
- Scrap has no reasonScrap is weighed as a total. Nobody knows which process, machine or shift produced most of it.

Built for metal processors
- Heat number end to endThe heat number on the incoming lot stays on every output lot cut from it, and appears on the delivery note.
- Input-to-output yield per batchIssued weight against produced weight and scrap weight. Yield is per batch, not a monthly average.
- Scrap with a reasonOffcut, rejection and setting loss are recorded as separate reasons, so the recurring one is visible.
Proof from other floors
Measured on real floors
None of our live customers are metal processors yet. These factories are, and the same screens run your stages.

Questions from metal processors
We sell by weight but plan in pieces. Does that work?
Yes. An item carries both units and the conversion sits on the item, so orders, issues and dispatch can each use the one that suits them.
Can we hold test certificate values against the lot?
Certificate values are recorded as characteristics on the incoming lot and travel forward to the output lots and the delivery note.
