What is Manufacturing ERP + MES?

Manufacturing ERP + MES is one system that runs both halves of a factory. The ERP side runs the office: sales orders, planning, purchase, stores, dispatch and cost. The MES side, the manufacturing execution system, runs the floor: work orders on work centres, counts, scrap, downtime and inspections recorded as the work happens.

Sold separately, the two need an integration project and still disagree, because each keeps its own copy of the order, the stock and the plan. As one system, a count logged at a machine moves the plan, the stock and the cost of the order at the same moment, and nobody types it again.

For a small or mid-sized plant, most of the gain comes from that single record. The owner sees every line during the shift, the stores know what the next work order needs, and each order closes with its real cost instead of an estimate.

What Indian manufacturers need from it

The general idea is the same everywhere. These are the details that decide whether it works in an Indian plant.

Does a small Indian manufacturer need an MES, or is ERP enough?

What does FleekERP not do yet?

There is no offline mode, no barcode or QR scanning and no machine or IoT data yet; machine data is on the roadmap. The interface is English today, with Tamil and Hindi in development.
