About Nexfloe

Built by a factory owner who also builds software

Nexfloe is a software company in Chennai. We make FleekERP, an ERP and MES for growing factories. It started as the system we needed for our own garment unit, and other manufacturers now run their floors on it.

Our story

How FleekERP started

We run a garment unit. For years we had the same problems as everyone else. We couldn't see production until the shift was over, delays came with no reason attached, quality problems turned up at finishing, and we only knew the labour cost of an order after the month closed.

It was harder to accept because software is our other job. We'd spent years building it for other businesses, and the tools to fix this already existed. Nobody had put them together for a factory like ours.

Friends and family who run electrical, electronics and automotive units told us the same story: counts kept in registers and on WhatsApp, and a phone call at 8 am to find out what happened. Their ERP stayed in the accounts office, and the MES systems they looked at were priced for much bigger plants.

So we built our own. Operators enter their work on a phone at the station, and the supervisor, the stores and the office see the same numbers straight away.

I've spent 15 years building business software and leading the teams that make it, for companies in finance and manufacturing.

I also own a garment factory. FleekERP started there, as the system my own floor needed.

How we build FleekERP

  • Start with the operatorScreens are designed for the person at the machine first. An operator has four things to do, and should be able to do them after one training session.
  • Enter it onceWhen an operator logs a count, that number shows up on the dashboard, in stock and in the cost of the order. Nobody types it in again.
  • One product for everyoneWe set it up with your own work centres, routings and reason codes. The core product stays the same for every customer.
  • Learn from the floorWhat we build next comes from watching customers use it. If supervisors keep working around a screen, we change that screen.
  • Keep your accounting softwareYour books stay where they are. Tally and Zoho connect directly, and other systems can be connected too.
  • Be clear about limitsThe app is in English today, with Tamil and Hindi on the way. There's no offline mode, barcode scanning or machine data yet.
