SMX manufactures wiring harnesses and connectors for OEM customers who increasingly require batch traceability on every lot supplied. The traceability records lived in Excel, updated by hand, and were always a day or two behind actual production. When an OEM customer asked for a trace on a specific batch (which raw material lot, which production run, which operator), assembling the answer took hours of cross-referencing spreadsheets and physical registers, and the records were not always complete.
What We Did
Fleek was configured to SMX's wiring harness production flow, with operators scanning component and wire lots at each stage on their phones. Lot genealogy now builds automatically as production happens. Every finished harness lot links back to the raw material batches, the production run, and the operators who worked it. When an OEM requests a trace, the full genealogy is pulled from a single screen instead of reconstructed from spreadsheets.
