The situation
The shift ends before anyone knows it went wrong
Counts are written on a sheet at the station and typed in at the end of the shift, or read out on a phone call the next morning. By then the delivery date has already moved, and nobody can say which station lost the hours.

Questions about production visibility
Will operators actually log on a phone?
At the four factories live today, yes. The operator screen shows one job and four actions. VSTAN's managing director expected resistance and had counts coming in on their own within a week.
What if the plant has no Wi-Fi on the floor?
The apps use the phone's mobile data. A shared station phone with PINs works where operators do not carry their own.
Does it replace the production register?
Yes. The register's columns become the count, scrap and downtime entries on the phone, with a name on each. VK Garments, VSTAN and King Garments run without paper registers.
