Manufacturing intelligence

Read the plant from its own data

Plan attainment, rejection and downtime by work centre, shift and product, computed from what the floor recorded. Cost per order from material by lot, subcontracting by challan and labour by operation count. The invoice goes to Tally or Zoho. Nothing is typed into a spreadsheet to make a report.

Manufacturing plant floor with machines and operators

Cost per order

Margin from the floor's own counts

Each sales order shows material consumed by lot at its purchase cost, subcontracting by challan at the vendor rate, labour from operation counts and operator rates, and downtime and overtime as expenses. Against the invoice, that is the margin on the order, closed when it ships.

  • Material at the lot's costConsumption reads the lots actually issued, so a price change on a later purchase does not move an earlier order's cost.
  • Labour from counts, not estimatesOperation counts and time at the station give labour hours per order. King Garments sees labour cost per style this way.
  • Subcontracting by challanVendor cost per operation, including the short return, is on the order it belongs to.
  • Invoice to the booksDispatch creates the invoice from the pick. It syncs to Tally or Zoho. Your accountant keeps the accounts package.

What management sees

Plan attainment, rejection and downtime, by shift

The report set is built from the same events the dashboard shows live. Plan attainment by work centre and shift. Rejection by operation and cause. Downtime by cause and station. Output per operator. Each report opens to the work orders behind the number.

Questions about reports and cost

Do we need to enter rates for cost per order?

A purchase cost on receipts, a vendor rate on subcontract operations and a labour rate per work centre or operator. Material cost then follows the lot, labour follows the counts.

Can we export reports?

Every report exports in a standard format. The management app shows the live dashboard and the daily reports on the phone.

Is there OEE?

Availability, performance and quality are computed per work centre and shift from logged downtime, counts against rate and first-pass yield. There are no machine sensors involved. Machine data is on the roadmap.

Which accounting packages sync?

Tally and Zoho today, for purchases, sales, invoices and stock values. Other systems through the API.
